RENTON, Wash. -- It didnt take long for the Seattle Seahawks to face a potential injury problem. This one involving their most expensive off-season acquisition, Percy Harvin. The Seahawks new offensive toy has suffered an unknown hip injury that landed him on the physically unable to perform list when training camp opened Thursday. The injury is in the area of Harvins labrum, which has immediately drawn concern that it could be a problem that would cause Harvin to miss significant time before ever seeing the field with his new team. "Percy has a hip issue that hes dealing with that came up over the summer. Were trying to figure it out. Were going to do everything we can to help him out, to make the right decision and take care of him in every way," Seattle coach Pete Carroll said. "He was working out just a week or so ago going full speed, but it was bothering him enough we took some looks at it." Carroll did not rule out surgery as the solution, but he felt the team has time to get Harvin ready. "Were going to go ahead and do it step by step right now," Carroll said. "I know he was working full speed just a few days ago but we need to take care of him." The Seahawks made an aggressive move to bolster an already potent offence when they traded three draft picks, including their 2013 first-round selection, to Minnesota in exchange for Harvin. Then Seattle locked up Harvin long-term, signing him to a six-year extension. Adding Harvin to an offence already featuring Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch and Sidney Rice immediately raised the Seahawks already lofty status as contenders in the NFC. Now the plans for seeing Harvin on the field could be delayed, significantly. If surgery is needed, the Seahawks could be looking at an extended period without their splashy off-season acquisition. Rice had surgery to repair the labrum in his hip before the start of the 2010 season while with Minnesota and missed more than half the season. Coming off a Pro Bowl season in 2009, Rice didnt see the field until Week 11 of 2010. Harvin had hip issues early in the 2010 season and he missed a practice during Seattles Junes minicamp with what Carroll called a hip flexor issue. "Right now we need to get more information. We dont know enough right now," Carroll said. Despite debilitating migraines that limited his practice time early in his career with the Vikings, Harvin has been surprisingly durable, even with a rugged style of running through tacklers. Before last season, Harvin had missed only three games in his first three seasons. Last season, Harvin suffered a severely sprained left ankle against the Seahawks on Nov. 4. He was placed on injured reserve a month later, abruptly ending a season that began so strongly. He led the NFL in total yards, including rushing, receiving and returning, at the time of his injury. Wilson didnt seem concerned about Harvin possibly missing practice time. "Percy has played in the league for several years now. He knows football, he understands the game and we talk all the time about certain routes and things," Wilson said. "You dont have to always get the reps to perfect them. As long as youre on the same page in terms of the communication level, on the same page in terms of mentally when youre out there and what youre seeing. Along with Harvin, Seattle also started camp with defensive end Chris Clemons (knee) and tight end Zach Miller (foot) on the PUP list. Neither move was unexpected as Clemons is continuing his recovery from knee surgery following an injury he suffered in the NFC playoffs against Washington. Carroll had no update on a timeline, other than noting Clemons push to make it back for the season opener. "Well know more in the next couple of days when we have him with us. Hes in pretty good shape. He feels great about it. He doesnt feel any pain at all. Were trying to keep him off full speed running on the ground yet," Carroll said. "I said this way back when, were really going to take our time with him." Miller continues to deal with a sore left foot that forced him to miss some of the June minicamp. Its the same foot that Miller suffered a torn fascia in during the Seahawks playoff loss to Atlanta, but the injury is not related. Also starting the season on PUP is running back Robert Turbin (foot), defensive end Greg Scruggs (knee) and cornerback Tharold Simon. Discount Yankees Jerseys . MADRID -- Spanish prosecutors want to punish Neymar, his father, Barcelona, and the players Brazilian club because of an investment groups claim that they concealed the value of the stars transfer fee.Prosecutors said on Wednesday they are seeking a two-year prison sentence and a $10.6 million fine for Neymar and his father on corruption charges, although they are not likely to face any jail time because in Spain sentences of less than two years for first offences are usually suspended.Prosecutors also want to punish former Barcelona president Sandro Rosell on corruption and fraud charges, which could lead to up to five years in prison and the same $10.6 million fine. The former president of Brazilian club Santos, Odilio Rodrigues, is facing a three-year prison sentence on fraud charges. They are all set to stand trial after a complaint brought by Brazilian investment group DIS, which was entitled to 40 percent of Neymars transfer from Brazilian club Santos in 2013 but said it received a smaller compensation because part of the transfer fee was concealed.Prosecutors seek a fine of $8.9 million from Barcelona and $7.4 million from Santos.DIS has demanded a five-year prison sentence for Neymar and his parents, and an eight-year sentence for Rosell and current Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu. It also seeks a fine from Barcelona that could reach more than $200 million, and wants Neymar to be temporarily suspended from playing if found guilty.A judge this month accepted charges against Bartomeu, but prosecutors spared him on Wednesday, saying he did not directly participate in the negotiations related to Neymars transfer.Prosecutors said Rosell, Rodrigues, Barcelona, and Santos must repay nearly $3.4 millionn to DIS.ddddddddddddProsecutors want a one-year prison sentence and a $10.6 million fine for Neymars mother, who co-owns one of her husbands companies representing Neymar. Prosecutors want the company to pay a fine of $1.4 million.Neymar and his father, who acts as the players agent, appeared in a Madrid court in February to defend themselves. All other parties being accused by prosecutors also have denied wrongdoing. In July, Barcelona midfielder Lionel Messi and his father were sentenced to 21 months in prison for tax fraud, but were not sent to jail.In June, Barcelona paid a fine of $5.8 million in a separate case after acknowledging to Spains tax authorities it made an error in the fiscal planning of the players transfer.Earlier this year, a National Court judge shelved the complaint made by the Brazilian investment fund, but the decision was appealed and a group of judges eventually ruled that there was enough evidence to keep the case open.Barcelona said the price of Neymars transfer was 57.1 million euros ($60.6 million), with Santos receiving 17.1 million euros ($18.1 million). Prosecutors said the total amount paid by the Spanish club to Santos was 25.1 million euros ($26.6 million), meaning DIS would be entitled to an additional 3.2 million euros ($3.4 million).Prosecutors said the difference comes from payments made by Barcelona for the future acquisitions of other players, as well as partnerships for friendly matches between the clubs.DIS paid 5 million reals ($1.6 million) for its 40 percent of Neymars rights in 2009.---Tales Azzoni on Twitter: http://twitter.com/tazzoni ' ' '
